Is there anywhere nearby to eat out on a Sunday?
Booking is essential, but there are two choices here in Uig:
Uig Sands Restaurant
The Edge Cafe
Do you provide cots?
We can supply a cot and a highchair at no extra cost. We will provide a bottom sheet for the mattress in the cot, but please bring your own cot blankets
Do you take dogs?
We can take up to 2 well behaved dogs per pod, at a surcharge of £10 per booking.
We have our own dog and love to be able to take her with us if we go away! Dogs are welcome at The Beach Bothies, but we have had to lay down some strict ground rules as we are in the middle of a crofting community and sheep are able to roam freely throughout the village and the surrounding areas. Be aware of sheep as they can panic very easily, and keep your dog under control at all times. Dogs must not be allowed to roam unaccompanied outside the gated area surrounding the pods.
Please clean up after your dog as any extra cleaning is charged at cost. Please do not let your dog onto the furniture or leave your dog in the pod when you go out.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit of £100 is taken at the time of booking, with the balance due by 30 days before arrival.
What if I have to cancel my booking?
If the booking is cancelled 14 days or more before arrival any payments will be fully refunded.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
